DEAR FRIENDS!

The Best Friends Charitable Foundation is helping the people of Sumy overcome the challenges that war has brought to Ukraine.

The city, just 30 kilometers from the Russian border, has been subjected to constant rocket attacks, daily air strikes, and threats from sabotage groups. The Sumy region borders Russia directly, and the border is more than 560 kilometres long.
Thanks to the heroism of the soldiers of the Territorial Defence and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the people of Sumy and the Sumy region, the region was liberated. However, the border is still under constant shelling, so war is unfortunately our everyday life. Every day, the war brings suffering and creates obstacles to accessing basic human needs. Children are particularly affected.
Residents of Sumy, who stayed in the city during the occupation and helped people in any way they could, set up the Best Friends Charitable Foundation to carry on this mission.
